Shipping & Delivery.
Most diagnostic kits ship same business day from our Ham Lake, Minnesota warehouse. Here's how it works, what it costs, and what to expect when it lands.
Order processing
Orders placed before 2:00 p.m. CT Monday–Friday ship the same business day. Orders placed after that, or on weekends and holidays, ship the next business day.
Configured laptop kits with software activation may take an extra 1–3 business days while we install, license, and bench-test the system before it goes in the box. We'll tell you the realistic ship date during the order call or by email.
Shipping methods
We ship via UPS and FedEx Ground for most orders, with expedited service available on request:
- Ground (UPS / FedEx) — 1 to 5 business days depending on distance from Minnesota.
- 2-Day Air — guaranteed delivery within 2 business days after shipping.
- Overnight — next-business-day delivery for in-bay emergencies.
- Freight (LTL) — for oversized fleet kit orders or multiple bench setups.
Rates & free shipping
Standard ground rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and ZIP code. Free ground shipping on orders over $99 within the continental United States. Expedited services are quoted at carrier cost.
Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll get a confirmation email with the carrier and tracking number. Tracking updates in real time on the carrier's site.
If you don't see a tracking email within one business day of order confirmation, check your spam folder or call us — we'll resend it.
International orders
We ship to Canada and most other countries on request. International orders require manual quoting because shipping cost, duties, and software licensing rules vary by country. Email support@oemdiagnostictools.com with the items and destination ZIP/postal code, and we'll quote within one business day.
The buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country.
Damage & lost packages
Inspect every shipment within 48 hours of receipt. If you see damage to the box or contents, take photos before unpacking further and call us immediately. We'll work with the carrier to file a claim and ship a replacement.
For lost packages — tracking shows delivered but the package is not on site — call us within 5 business days. We'll open a carrier trace and either recover the package or ship a replacement.
