Our story
HDT exists because the wrong tool costs you a bay day.
We started Heavy Duty Truck Diagnostics for one reason: shops kept buying tools that didn't fit the trucks rolling into their bays. A salesman would push the most expensive scanner. A web search would surface the cheapest. Neither matched what the shop actually wrenched on.
So we built a tool company that talks first. The phone gets answered by people who have run forced regens on a 5 mph derate Detroit, who know which Cummins X15 model years let you reset ash with aftermarket and which need INSITE, and who'd rather lose a sale than ship a kit that doesn't fit.
HDT carries OEM software from Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo/Mack, International, and Cat. We carry aftermarket platforms — Jaltest, JPRO, TEXA, Autel CV, Nexiq, FCAR. We carry the laptops, the adapters, the cases. And we carry the support that comes with all of it.
